EASTERN WRESTLING LEAGUE WRESTLER OF THE WEEK
Our EWL Wrestler of the Week for the week ended December 6, 2009, is Matt Moley, who is a senior at Bloomsburg University, and competes for the Huskies at 157 pounds. He’s a two-time NCAA All-American from Phoenixville, Pennsylvania.
On December 5, 2009, Mr. Moley pinned his way through the 67th Annual PSAC Tournament, this year held at Edinboro University. In his three bouts, Moley racked up three first-period pins, and was voted Outstanding Wrestler.

Further, the EWL tips its headgear to eight other EWL grapplers, who won crowns at the PSAC event. They are: Eric Morrill of Edinboro at 125 pounds; Frank Hickman of Bloomsburg at 141 pounds; Brock Parker of Lock Haven at 149 pounds; Jarrod King of Edinboro at 165 pounds; Nate Graham of Bloomsburg at 174 pounds; Pat Bradshaw of Edinboro at 184 pounds; Alex Thomas of Clarion at 197 pounds; and Chris Birchler of Edinboro at 285 pounds.
Moreover, the four EWL teams participating in the ten-team PSAC event took the top four team places, with Edinboro winning its fifth straight title.
