Lock Haven downed by #5 Penn State
 UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Lock Haven University wrestling team was downed by local rival and fifth-ranked Penn State this afternoon on the road in front of over 4,000 in Rec Hall.
The Nittany Lions won all 10 bouts and won 48-0.
The loss drops LHU to 3-3 in dual matches this year.
With the win, PSU remains undefeated at 6-0.
Lock Haven was coming off a 1-1 performance on Thursday night at Lewistown High School. The Bald Eagles cruised past Millersville before falling to Ohio University.
Derek Caldwell (Curwensville, Pa./Curwensville), who returned to the lineup on Thursday put forth a solid effort at 197 today, but came up just a bit short, falling to Penn State’s 
Nick Ruggear 8-6.
Freshman Mike Khoury (Edgewater, N.J./Saint Joseph Regional) lost a hard-fought bout at 174. Khoury fell 7-5 as Nick Fischer scored a late takedown for the Nittany Lions. 
Lock Haven returns to action Wednesday, December 29 at the prestigious Southern Scuffle Tournament. The two-day event wraps up on December 30.
